On 8 August we had six teams representing Roncalli College at the annual Aoraki Mathematicss Competition held at Timaru Boys’ High School. While all teams did really well, we had one team from each section that fought out a tie breaker round to gain 3rd position. The Year 9 team did particularly well, getting 19/20 questions correct. Congratulations to all that were involved.
Teams were:
Year 9: Krishna Sridhar, Kahn Blake, Ashleigh Honniwell, and Sheridan Ioane.
Year 10: Andrew Boot, Campbell Hall, Reese Miller and Gabriel van Royen.
