The Timaru District Library have successfully applied to be included in the Ciena Jump for Students fund for 2023. Library's have been Skinny Jump partners since 2018. The Ciena Jump for Students fund gives selected families the opportunity to have a fully funded Jump plan for the school year – 210GB of free broadband data each month. The fund aims to provide a fully sponsored broadband connection to student homes in Aotearoa, who don’t have an internet connection because cost is a barrier.
