Congratulations to our runners

Last week end, three Roncalli students participated in the New Zealand Secondary Schools Cross Country Championships in Palmerston North. 

Our athletes had to contend with a rather technical course, a bit of rain, mud and a large field of runners from around New Zealand. Erin O'Keeffe came 22 out of 85 runners, Bethany Dickerson came 35 out of 100 runners and Archie Jones came 99 out of 184 runners. 

All three students participated in the relay events the next day representing Aoraki Cross Country with the Year 9 girls placing 4th, the Junior Mixed team gaining a podium with 3rd place and the Senior mixed team placing 4th.
