Roncallians battled it out with intense spirit

In the last week of Term 2, the Academic leaders ran the Official Inter-House Quiz of 2020. The quiz consisted of seven categories, each containing eight questions. There was a range of categories to test everyone's knowledge. Some of the categories included; Social Media, Current Events and General Knowledge, with a Ponderous Puzzle to round it off.

Each house provided five teams, one for each year level. One collective teacher team also competed to see if they could show the students who’s boss. Unfortunately they couldn’t hold up their reputation as they scored 36 points, in comparison to Chanels Year 12’s, who scored a total of 38, scoring the best out of their year level. The teams who scored best in their year levels is as follows:

Year 9: Colin - 23 points

Year 10: Aquinas - 33 points

Year 11: McAuley and Colin - 27 points

Year 12: Chanel - 38 points

Year 13: Aquinas - 30 points

Roncallians battled it out with intense spirit, but unfortunately there has to be one winner. The placings are as follows:

1st Place: Chanel - 138 points

2nd Place: Aquinas - 131 points

3rd Place: McAuley - 128 points

4th Place: Colin - 117 points

We would personally like to thank Mr. Hinton as well as the House leaders who helped us set up and run the event on the day. It wouldn’t have been possible without your support. Of course, a big thank you to the students who participated in the event, we hope you enjoyed it!
