The taster days I tested out were electrician, automotive electrician and plumber, but the job that I chose to continue with was electrician.

What I thought Gateway was before taking the class was a way that you can figure out what you want to do in life and hopefully get a job out of it.

My work placement is with Aotea Electric every Wednesday where I go with one other worker and help them out on whatever they have going on that day like putting in new lights, outlets and aircons.

While working in the Gateway class I have also been doing some book work on the side with the electrical ITO (Skills Organisation). So far I have completed activities related to Physics, Maths and Health and Safety. My plans for next year are hopefully to get an electrical apprenticeship.
