Greetings from the Library

Lou Heenan —

Many of us will have caught up on a lot of reading over the past few weeks! As things return to 'normal' don't let this lovely pastime of reading for pleasure disappear.

When the Level 4 Lockdown was announced it was fantastic to see the number of people rush in to borrow as many books as they could! I hope you have all been able to read as many of them as possible. As life returns to back to 'normal' I hope that you continue to take time to read and enjoy this simple pleasure! Many people have also read or written poetry during this time and if this is something that interests you then check out https://poets.org/ for some inspiration and enjoyment!

The Science Department at the University of Canterbury also shared some learn from home resources which include  "science" things for the whole family links for podcasts, brain teasers and other fun thins. https://www.canterbury.ac.nz/science/outreach/learning-resources/learn-from-home/?_cldee=bC5oZWVuYW5Acm9uY2FsbGkuc2Nob29sLm56&recipientid=contact-1887a5085beee61180f7c4346bc532a0-7b69f6d13b2140e9a02d1d3df74390ad&esid=83e399da-b98d-ea11-a811-000d3acacf4a
