Congratulations to four Roncalli Students who competed at the World Skate Oceania Speed Skating Championships in Timaru from Friday 29 March to Tuesday 2 April.

All four students came away with some fantastic results...

Karl Boles de Boer: Came away with a Bronze in marathon, Silver in the 500m, Silver in the 200m, and Silver in the 1000m. 

Kyla Beveridge: Came away with Gold in the 3000m Relay, Silver in the 5000m points and Bronze in the 500m. 

Brayden Teague: Silver in 200m, 500m, 1000m, & 5000m points, 5000m elimination, half marathon and gold in the 3000m Relay.

Callum Sandri: Won gold in 200m, 500m, 1000m, & 5000m points, 5000m elimination, half marathon, and took out the Age Grade Overall Champion Trophy. 

NZ won the overall Country trophy for the first time since 2018.
