On Wednesday our Year 9 classes had their final Physical Education competition for the Year.
This term the classes have been working on a Turbo Touch Sport Education model, where students assume roles within a team and take responsibility for running a sports competition. Along with improving Turbo Touch skills, the students work on improving interpersonal and teamwork skills. This year’s competition was extremely close, with many of the knockout games decided by 1 or 2 points, often in the final seconds of the game.
The winners for this years Turbo Touch competition were: Third Division - The Noelsies (9O), Second Division - Teenage Turbo Turtles (9S), First Division and overall winners - The Jeremy’s (9O). Congratulations to all the teams for producing an excellent tournament and well done to our winners for the year.
