This season the smallest rowing squad for Roncalli went to the National Secondary Schools regatta, Maadi Cup at Lake Karapiro. The squad consisting of Antonio Frances-Rees, Jan Kuepper, Kian Wills and Conor White were away last week from 24 March to 31 March. 

After competing well at the South Island Secondary School regatta the four rowers were feeling good about competing. However, they found the competition intense and did not gain the results that they were aiming for. Kian missed out on an A Final but placed 4th in the B Final and the U16 double scull of Kian and Conor were also in a B Final.
