The Roncalli Rowing Club is seeking a Rowing coach for the 2019/20 season

Roncalli College has a proud tradition of rowing and sculling, regularly sending crews to Maadi Cup each year and have captured national titles, defying the odds and earning a reputation as one of the best small schools among the rowing fraternity. The Roncalli College Rowing Club is currently seeking expressions of interest for a rowing coach for the 2019/20 season.

Applicants must have:

• a proven knowledge of rowing/sculling with a high level of tactical and technical expertise

• a strong philosophical ethos of rowing and the player/coach relationship

• demonstrated people management skills required to lead a high-performance environment

• shown the ability to inspire a team whilst developing rowers’ individual skills to a high level

• experience in working with school age rowers

A year 13 rowing student is ready to assist with coaching, has attended a coaching course and has had students on the water training. The open day for the club is on Sunday 8 September 10.00am to 12noon.
