Roncalli achieved some fantastic results over the Satellite Tournament Week in Christchurch.

The Boys finished 1st place in their Division, unbeaten throughout the entire tournament, and the Girls finished 3rd after being very dominant in their pool play. Both teams are likely to gain promotion to the next Division, and may in fact look to compete at a bigger tournament next year. More to come at the end of the year.

These trips could not take place without the countless hours of work that go into them behind the scenes.

To our Head Coaches, Dallas Redhead and Kelby Hackler, your expertise and leadership has really shone through these teams at Satellite, you should both be very proud. Lauren O'Connor, our manager: your organisation of fundraising and of food on the trip was invaluable, you will be first we call for the next one! To Sally Betts, who is extremely supportive of the Roncalli Volleyball Program, and without whom we would definitely be caught short! Lastly, to Rose, Sandy, Sue and Catherine in the office, who are always have a calm voice and a clear mind when helping out with any issue while away, your support is much appreciated.

We now have semis and finals to look forward to in the next couple of weeks at the Association level, and that will be a wrap on the season. A huge thanks to all parents, caregivers, and people supporting our players, they could not have these opportunities otherwise.
