Musicians from Roncalli recently participated in the TSM tour of local schools, a concert at St Mary's Church in Timaru, and a concert for Waimataitai School.

The Roncalli Wind and Strings joined together with students from Mountainview High School and Craighead to demonstrate a range of musical instruments and the enjoyment of playing as an ensemble to students at Oceanview Heights, St Joseph's Timaru, Waimataitai, Bluestone, Gleniti, South, and Timaru Christian School. 

Our Wind tutor Tim Bower and Strings tutor Tim McLeod also joined for the two day tour. 

The St Mary's lunchtime concert was also an opportunity for three solo pianists to perform for members of the community alongside the Wind and String ensembles.

Sieun Park performed her solo and group performance items for NCEA Music with flute at the concert

At a performance for Waimataitai School, Zac Campbell and Reuben Wheeler had the students groove to performances on bass guitar and drum kit. 

Mya George and Grace Coe also sang for the junior and senior school at this event.
