NCEA Literacy and Numeracy Assessments
Co-requisite for NCEA Level 1
Good luck to Year 10's who are sitting the upcoming co-requisite literacy and numeracy assessments for NCEA Level 1. Year 10's have been familiarising themselves with the NZQA Digital assessment platform after creating thier NZQA Logins on Tuesday. If any student has not done this or can't remember their login details, they need to sort this prior to the first assessment starting by seeing Mrs Adams.
When are they happening? (please note there has been some changes to previously advertised days). Period 1 and 2:
Tuesday 13 June - Numeracy
Wednesday 14 June - Reading
Thursday 15 June - Writing
Students need to line up outside the hall in core classes when the first bell rings.
- What do they need to bring:
- Charged laptop and charger
- Headphones - this will allow them to use Polly, a text to speak tool that comes with some digital assessments.
- Calculator
- Ruler
- Pen/Pencil for making notes/working out problems
If you would like to know any further information or which assessments your student is taking part in, please contact their English and/or Mathematics teacher.
