Two weeks ago the Year 11, 12 and 13 Drama classes performed their final productions of the year.

The Year 13 students performed Caryl Churchill's Top Girls on Tuesday 11 and Thursday 13 September. Staged a little differently in a thrust stage (audience on three sides of the actors), the restaurant scene showed the reality of female conversation and the hilarity of female dynamics.

We then switched to a proscenium arch where we saw the challenges women face in the workplace and the struggles of having to choose between family and career.

The Year 11 and 12 students performed Olwen Wymark's Find Me on Wednesday 12th September. This play addressed the struggles of people dealing with mental illness in the 1980s. Verity Taylor was played by 5 different actresses to show the differences in her personality.
