Two upcoming staff events in early June that will impact on our normal school timetable.
- On 1 June 2018, the Roncalli College staff, along with the staff members in our Kahui Ako (Sacred Heart, St Joseph’s Timaru, St Joseph’s Temuka and St Joseph’s Pleasant Point) will be involved in a Teacher Only Day. This means that the College will not be open for instruction on this day. Our South Canterbury Catholic Kahui Ako, also known as the Community of Learning, is a government initiative to help improve learning opportunities and outcomes for students by assisting schools to share expertise and resourcing. Please note that this is the Friday before Queen’s Birthday Weekend.
- On 6 June 2018, the PPTA has called for a Paid Union Meeting for all its members at 1:30pm at Mountainview High School. As a result, we will be dismissing students at 1:15pm on this day. Periods 1-4 will run as per normal with regular classes finishing for the day at 1:20pm. Students may leave the grounds at this time to go home but supervision will be provided on site for those students that require it.
