Three separate online competitions, Science, Maths and English will run near the end of Term 2.
These annual competitions are open for students in Years 9 and 10. They are designed by New Zealand teachers for New Zealand students based on the New Zealand Curriculum. The Years 9 and 10 competitions are set at Level 5 of the curriculum.
Students can enter in one or more subjects. Each subject involves a supervised 50-minute test, conducted online with each student using a unique username and password.
The competition provides teachers, parents and students with an independent,
comprehensive record of a student’s performance. All participating students will receive a certificate and prizes will be awarded to top students.
The cost per student for each competition is $9.50 (incl. GST) and entries close 12 May. If students want to enter the competition, they should use their school gmail account to fill in this google form.
