We are very pleased with the number of Excellence endorsements our students gained in 2020.

Excellence results are now recognised in two ways. 

Students who gained NCEA Excellence in Levels 1, 2 or 3 are given a cloth badge to sew onto their blazers. These badges can be attained during the year once a student has gained 50 Excellence credits or at the start of the following year, when external results become available.

This year, we have introduced enamel badges for students who got Excellence in specific subjects in 2020. These badges are only given out at the start of the year as most subjects depend on external results for Excellence endorsements. Each subject endorsement is recognised with a tile, hanging from a school NCEA Excellence badge.
