There are so many benefits of playing sports which can include:

- Better sleep

- Making friends

- Improved mood

- Team work skills

- More energy

- Self discipline, resilience and motivation.

- Improved fitness, strength, flexibility, power and mobility.

- The chance to set and achieve goals

- Healthy body composition

- Less sickness/illness

Winter sport is beginning and it is great to see so many people signed up to play.

Representing Roncalli is awesome and there are teams for all different ability levels.

If people don’t want to play team sports they can get active by doing things such as going for a walk or run, riding a bike, going swimming, doing an online workout etc.

Winter sports that are available at Roncalli include:

- Rugby

- Netball

- Badminton

- Mountain Biking

- Cycling

- Cross Country

- Golf
