BBNZ National Basketball Camp and Selection to referee U15 Nationals

Emily Heke and Dalton Todd recently attended a Basketball New Zealand (BBNZ) U14 National Camp that was held in Nelson over Queen's Birthday weekend. As a relatively small region it is rare to receive invitations to these camps; Emily and Dalton have worked very hard for the opportunity. Well done both of you!

"The camp is an insight into future camps designed for elite athletes run by BBNZ. The camp content included on-court BBNZ style of play for offence and defence, shooting and fundamental skills. There were a number of off-court workshops ran as well. Also if the weekend wasn’t full of content, a 3x3 competition and 5v5 tournament was also included.A great weekend for all 6 of our regions young athletes to attend. I would like to wish both Emily and Dalton the best in their future with basketball as they have a promising future."Ngā Mihi,Shannon EdwardsBBNZ Camp Coach (South Canterbury)
