Senior Conferencing, Course Selection and NCEA Information

Senior Conference 27 September 2023

Tuesday 27 September is Senor Conferencing. This is a great opportunity to meet with teachers to discuss progress to date and where to next. If you have not already booked online

• Please click this link and follow the instructions. Once you have finished, your Conference timetable will be emailed to you. You are able to return to the site and change your Conference times if necessary. The booking code is n98yx.

• Please ring the College Office if you have any questions or do not have access to the internet. Office staff are available to make the appointments for you.

Course Selection for 2023

Students were emailed this week with information on how to make their provisional selection of options for 2023. The timetable team uses this information to start creating the 2023 timetable. Please discuss with your student their possible option choices and if you would like some guidance or advice with this. Please contact the year level dean or myself.

The countdown is on for NCEA Externals

It was great to see our NCEA candidates demonstrating examination etiquette during our practice assessment week. Students should take advantage of the feedback and guidance from teachers as this is invaluable and should be used to help student preparation for any final standards.

It is important that students take the time to create a study schedule for themselves covering the next few weeks, including important dates like their final internal submission dates, final day of classes, tutorials and examination. Students should share this schedule with family members so that you can support one another towards success in NCEA.
