This term we welcome a new staff member to the College, Aaron Smith.

Mr Smith was appointed to teach Outdoor Education and Physical Education and brings with him extensive experience in sport, coaching, leadership, and recreation. We believe he will be a great asset to our staff and will be able to add to the many offerings already available to our students.

Prior to his arrival to Roncalli, Mr Smith was teaching at Pukekohe High School as well as working at Vector Wero as a Kayak specialist instructor and rafting guide. Now that he is living in Timaru, he hopes to be able to take advantage of Caroline Bay to incorporate some of his water sports experience into the Roncalli curriculum.

I know the students will quickly warm to Mr Smith as he is enthusiastic, approachable, and passionate about fitness and the outdoors.
