Thinking about taking Gateway next year?

Marian Mehrtens —

Year 11 and 12 students and their families are invited to attend a short Gateway presentation to help with subject selection decisions. Come along to our Pathways evening and pop over to the College Library ready for a 5:15pm start, Tuesday 5 September

Come and learn more about Gateway and find out answers to common questions:

  • Gateway is a 1 year programme, should I take it in Year 12 or Year 13?
  • Numbers are restricted, there is an application and interview process to determine student suitability.
  • How and when do I apply and when will I find out if I have a place?
  • Work experience is a key component, how do I go about this?
  • How many NCEA credits will I get and what other qualifications can I work towards?
  • What careers can I choose and do I have to know what I want to do?
  • Will I get a job or apprenticeship through the programme?
  • If I take Gateway in Year 12 can I come back to school for Year 13?

Come along to our Pathways evening and pop over to the College Library ready for a 5:15pm start, Tuesday 5 September.

See you there.
