Caltex Fuel Sponsorship

We were very fortunate to learn that Caltex King Street nominated Roncalli to be a recipient of the 2022 fuel sponsorship programme and will provide us $1000.00 of fuel sponsorship to help our students attend their training and school sports events.

Background of this programme:

In 2021, Caltex in partnership with the The New Zealand Sports Collective (NZSC), provided $80,000 worth of fuel vouchers to 80 schools across Aotearoa New Zealand to help reduce costs associated with giving school kids an opportunity to participate in sports, often a barrier to participation for many. Schools who received the funding from their local Caltex station used this to help fund local sports trips, to thank coaches for their time and other travel related costs.

Who are we and what is this about?

The NZSC is an organisation focused on helping make sport more accessible to all New Zealanders. We know the importance that sport plays in young people’s lives, so we look to work with partners to reduce some of the barriers to participation.

As part of that quest, we’re excited to partner with Caltex and their locally owned and operated service station network. Caltex are keen to support local schools, recognising the importance of locals helping locals and how this shapes our communities.
