Playing some great games and experiencing wins and losses throughout their respective tournaments.

We would like to make a special mention to our Senior A Netball Team who qualified for their semi-final in the B grade of the South Island Secondary School Netball Competition. After losing to Verdon in the Semi, the girls played off for 3rd and 4th against Waimea College. Trailing by 4 goals at halftime and 4 goals again at 3 quarter time the girls managed to bring the match back and equalise right before full time. This meant the game went into overtime (needing to win by 2 goals) and the girls led twice before Waimea drew even each time. The 3rd lead they held and then managed a turnover with Jess Aldridge scoring the second goal to grab a very exciting but intense win.

This means that our Roncalli Girls have now qualified for the A-Grade at next year's SISS Netball championships which is a fantastic effort.
