Each day included input, reflection, discussion and interaction based around the keys of leadership

Twelve Roncalli students attended Marist Young leaders from 16 to 22 January. This was held at St Patrick’s College Silverstream in Upper Hutt. 

The other Marist schools that attend this week long leadership programme are St Bedes Christchurch, St Patrick's Wellington, St Patrick's Silverstream, St John’s College Hastings, Pompellier College Whangārei, Cullinane College Whanganui, Marist College Auckland and Hata Paora in Fielding. 

Throughout the week students are challenged on aspects of leadership, teamwork, being proactive and patient, the ability to fail and servant leadership. 

As the year 13 Dean, it was a privilege to watch this group grow.  I have no doubt that the relationships made within this network will last for many years to come.
