Our International students add a richness and diversity to our school culture and allow our domestic students to gain an understanding of what life is like in other parts of the world.

Currently, we are fortunate to have 25 international students at Roncalli College coming to us from Germany, Japan, South Korea, Thailand and Fiji.

These students add a richness and diversity to our school culture and allow our domestic students to gain an understanding of what life is like in other parts of the world. It is pleasing to see how they quickly adapt to the New Zealand way of life and take advantage of co-curricular activities on offer.

The International student leader this year is Ricky Kim, congratulations Ricky and thank you for accepting this important role.

We are also very fortunate to have some excellent homestay options for our international students. Many of these homestay families have a long-standing association with the College and treat the students as one of their own. 

Our students were welcomed to South Canterbury by Mayor Damon Odey on 20 February, thank you to Miss Hall, the Roncalli Choir and Neve O’Connor for their participation at this event.
