The Aoraki SS Athletics Championships were held on Sunday 30 October at Aorangi Park All Weather Track. For 2022 we had eleven students represent Roncalli. All Roncalli athletes placed in one or more of their events.

Sean Newlands: U15 Boys High Jump = 1st Place, 400m Sprint = 2nd Place

Ben Hunter-Brady: U15 Boys Triple Jump = 2nd Place, 800m Race = 1st Place

Bethany Dickerson: U14 Girls 800m Race = 2nd Place, 1500m Race = 1st Place.

Gabriel Dickerson: U15 Boys Javelin = 1st Place, 100m Sprint = 1st Place, 80m Hurdles = 1st Place, Triple Jump = 1st Place (Aoraki Record = 12.05m).

Karen McDonald: U15 Girls Javelin = 1st Place, Triple Jump = 3rd Place.

Monica McDonald: U19 Girls Javelin = 3rd Place, Triple Jump = 3rd Place, 100m Hurdles = 2nd Place.

Harrison Laing: U15 Boys Discus = 1st Place, 400m Sprint = 1st Place

Caelyn Morrison: U14 Girls Long Jump = 2nd Place.

Dalton Todd: U14 Boys Discus = 2nd Place, High Jump = 2nd Place, Shot Put = 2nd Place

Archie Jones: U16 Boys 3000m = 1st Place

Reuben Wheeler: U14 Boys Triple Jump = 1st Place, 200m Sprint = 3rd Place, 400m Sprint = 3rd Place, 80m Hurdles = 2nd Place.
