The team showed great character, camaraderie and commitment this year

A big congratulations to our Roncalli Under 18 Girls Rugby team who finished runner up after a very impressive showing against a strong Waitaki Girls/St Kevin's team yesterday in the Girls Under 18 final. The final score was 19-5, the girls put up a very spirited defensive effort keeping the score at 0-0 until after 20 minutes.

The team has shown great character, camaraderie and commitment this year, improving throughout the season and they can be extremely proud of how well they have improved as the season has progressed. 

Also a big thanks to the coaching team of Grant George, Chris Bown and Brad Sandri, and to Mitch George as their manager who have done a great job throughout the year.
