Students & Staff enjoying the many positive benefits of Kapa Haka

Following on from a successful day last year, on Tuesday 9 November, Roncalli College Kapa haka students had the opportunity to join together with students from across our Kāhui Ako schools. The day was a celebration of Kapa haka and waiata led by tutor Haami Rahui with the support of Arowhenua Māori School kapa haka tutor Raumiria Henare. Haami works with Roncalli students each week and the combined event was a wonderful opportunity to share what they had been learning.

Being able to gather at the Holy Family Parish Centre made the day all the more special. We would like to thank all of the principals, teachers and support staff from across the Kāhui Ako who made such a special day possible.
