Bishops and priests from around New Zealand and the Pacific participated in the ordination of Paul Martin, tenth Bishop of the Catholic diocese of Christchurch.

Roncalli College students were honoured to be invited to the ordination of Bishop Paul Martin on March 3 in Christchurch at the Christchurch Boys High auditorium. It was a very auspicious occasion, with stunning music, and a large audience including His Excellency Martin Krebs, the Pope's representative to New Zealand. Our very own Hajie Tamorite was given the privilege to present the new Bishop with his pastoral staff.
