The Junior Year 9 & 10 cricket match against St Kevins played on 19 February had a disappointing result for Roncalli College.

Batting first St Kevins amassed 140 all out.

Jarred Phillips bowled well, taking 3 wickets for 10 runs off his 4 overs.

Whilst the two Alex’s both picked up 2 wickets each – Alex Paine 2 for 17 and Alex Kelliher 2 for 18.

Krishna Sridhar also bowled very well, with his 6 overs only going for 15 runs.

In reply Roncalli struggled throughout their batting innings and were eventually dismissed for 87 – Well short of the target of 141.

Only three batsmen made double figures - Conor Boult 16, Alex Paine 11 and Krishna Sridhar 10.

So not a good result for Roncalli, on a day when the rain didn’t come early enough to prevent a loss…
