Aoraki Secondary Schools Squash Championships
Three students represented the College at the Aoraki Secondary Schools Squash Champs held on Thursday 24 May in Oamaru. Jacob Ryan, Logan Pannett and Krishna Sridhar competed in the boy’s grade and finished 4th out of 8 teams. The team qualified to the semi-finals but lost 2-1 to Ashburton Blue and in the 3rd/4th playoff against a strong Waitaki Boys Black team, Roncalli were beaten 3-0.
The boys did exceptionally well considering Logan and Krishna are both year 9 students competing against older experienced players. Well done boys and great to have a team back in the tournament this year, Jacob competed in a composite team with Geraldine in 2017.
Thank you to Gemma Ludemann for transporting the students to Oamaru and assisting throughout the day.

REMINDER there is no netball this Saturday June 2 as it is Queens Birthday weekend.

Junior Development Tournament
The Roncalli Senior A team ran a successful Junior Development netball tournament on Sunday 27 May. We would like to sincerely thank the many Year 9 and 10 teams from the Aoraki and Otago region who travelled and competed to make this tournament a success.
