Congratulations to Roncalli students who competed at two South Island Events over the July school holidays.

Sophie Best and Charlie Quested competed at the South Island Road Championships and the South Island Cyclocross Championships in the July School Holidays. Both students came away with some impressive results.

Sophie Best finished 1st in the Under 15 Girls Individual Time Trial event at the South Island Road Championships in Christchurch. Sophie also placed 2nd in the Under 15 Girls Road Race event. She then went on to compete at the South Island Cyclocross Champs in Christchurch, where she placed 2nd in the Under 15 Girls category. 

Charlie Quested also competed in the Individual Time Trial and Road Race events at the South Island Championships. Charlie finished 5th in the Under 17 Boys Road Race and 6th in the Under 17 Boys Individual Time Trial events. Charlie also went on to compete at the Cyclocross Championships, placing 8th in the Under 17 Boys event.
