On Wednesday 7 November we celebrated and farewelled our Year 12 Graduates at a ceremony attended by staff, friends and families in the College Library.

Each of these students has worked hard to achieve their NCEA Level 2 and are either working or taking on further study in 2019 which is a great success.

I would like to thank these young people for what they have contributed to the College over the past 4 years.

Many of these students have been a part of the Gateway programme and have done extremely well in their chosen field representing both themselves and the College to the highest standard.

A big thank you to the staff who have supported and guided these students over the past 4 years and a special mention to Marian Merthens and Lou Heenan, both of whom are extremely knowledgeable and dedicated in what they do with our Gateway programme.

• Josh Marshall - Full time employment at Marshall Transport

• James Miller - Full time employment at Karton Brick & Block

• Ryan Newlands - Full time employment at Alpine Farm

• Byron Paul - Automotive at Ara Institute of Canterbury

• Whitley Payne - Apprenticeship at Johnson Building
