AGM

Roncalli College Netball AGM will be held on Tuesday March 13 at 7pm in the Seminar room (Rm17). We welcome anyone who would like to be a part of the Roncalli Netball committee for 2018 to please join our existing members at this meeting.

General Information

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce our Senior A coach for 2018 - Karen Metherall. Karen has recently been coaching at Waitaki Girls' High School, as well as coaching and managing representative teams in North Otago and Dunedin. Last year Karen also attended the New Zealand Secondary school netball camp as the Assistant coach. Karen is very passionate about netball and we are excited to have her as part of our Roncalli coaching team.

Registrations took place on Friday 2 February – if your student was unable to / forgot to sign up please get them to see Mrs Rooney in the College office.

Parents / Caregivers will be emailed a trialling permission form which must be completed prior to your student trialling and being selected in a team.

Coaches and practice times will be made available once students have been allocated a team.

Senior netball pre-season training is continuing to run on a Sunday at 4:30pm in the College gymnasium. This is available for any senior student, especially those who would like to trial for the Senior A and B teams. It would be great if we had as many students attending as possible as trials are quickly approaching. If you would like more information, please ask to join the Facebook group 'Roncalli College Netball training group'.

Trials

Students must attend all trials unless notified prior. If your student cannot attend a trial a note explaining why must be given to Mrs Rooney prior to trials so that she can still be included in a team.
