Oli Kirke was recognised for his second place in the Timaru District Council LTP 'Thriving Together' competition.
Oli is passionate about our Environment. His recent entry to the Timaru District Council' 'Thriving Together' Long Term Plan Competition was based around Climate Change. His first idea was Solar for Schools and his second was Electric Public Transport.
The competition asked for ideas on how to make the Timaru District the best place to live. They wanted young people to contribute acknowledging the role they have in helping solving potential future problems.
