As we approach the end of a very busy term 2, I would like to keep you updated on some new ‘wee’ additions to our staff. Samantha Rooney welcomed the arrival of Ollie and Ashley Shaw welcomed the arrival of Nash. Both boys and mums are happy, health and ……busy . Amy Richardson will begin her maternity leave at the end of term 2 and will be expecting in August. We are excited for all our young families and we wish them all the best.

With three staff members on maternity leave, we have been fortunate to appoint the following fixed term positions:

With sadness, I would also like to acknowledge the death of a former staff member, Mrs Doreen Vance. Mrs Vance was a very well known and respected Guidance Counsellor who worked in several of our Timaru High schools over her long career in education. While she was only with us for part of 2017, she was dearly loved and has left a lasting impression. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.
