I have been doing a retail programme which has given me a lot of experience and can help in my future jobs but nursing is what I would love to do.

At the start of the programme I researched careers in nursing and retail.  I trialed taster days with Mocca Cafe, Lister Home and Countdown and now have my work experience placement with Countdown.   In this job there are many different things that you can pick, from deli to butchery and many other hands on tasks. In deli they had me on customer service and also on a lot other things like cooking.

I am registered on the Seeds Programme which is a customer service qualification with Service IQ.  Most of my learning and assessment has been via zoom tutorials with a Service IQ tutor but I also have practical tasks to be signed off in my workplace.

I hope to have some more work experience days in nursing but it has been a bit restricted with covid-19.   I would like to take the enrolled nursing course at Ara sometime in the future.
