Congratulations to our Year 13 students

This morning we celebrated our final College Mass for 2018. Father Mark Walls S.M. was our guest celebrant and was joined by Rachel and Matt who are members of the Marist team. We are thankful to Father Mark and  the Marist team for all the opportunities and support they provide the students and staff at Roncalli College. 

I would like to acknowledge and congratulate our current year 13 students for a successful 2018 year and thank them for their organisation of the Leaver's Mass. They are an extraordinary cohort and wish them all the best as they begin a new chapter of their lives.  I hope that many of the strong friendships that were started here will continue to grow beyond the school gates.

I urge our senior students to prepare well for their upcoming NCEA external examinations by taking full advantage of the resources and tutorials on offer at the College in the lead up to exams.  Remember that success isn't about greatness, but rather consistency.  Consistent hard work leads to success.  Greatness will come in time. 

On Tuesday 6 November we will welcome our 2019 year 9 students for their Induction Day.  An email will be sent to our new families outlining the structure and requirements of the day and also the details of the Parent evening on Monday 5 November.

I look forward to seeing many of you on Sunday at what I am sure will be another successful Roncalli Fair.
