Recent wellbeing initiatives at Roncalli College
PINK SHIRTS DAY
On Friday 17 May we celebrated Pink Shirts Day at Roncalli College.
Pink Shirt Day is about working together to stop bullying by celebrating diversity and promoting kindness and inclusiveness.
Staff and students dressed in pink and brought gold coins to be donated to the NZ Mental health foundation.
Some of our Year 13 Leaders (Isla Divan, Brody Farrant and Jemma Weeks) gave an informative presentation at assembly and awarded prizes for best dressed.
Thank you to everyone who took part and got involved!
LIFE EDUCATION TRUST
On Monday 20 May, Tom, Lexie and Anika from Life Education Trust visited Roncalli to perform for our Year 10 & 11 students.
The trio uses live theatre as a means to educate teens on how to make smart decisions around alcohol.
The team comes from Wellington and prefrorm to schools all around NZ. It was a pleasure to have them at the College.
