Gateway is fun if you know what you want to do with your future plans.

The careers I researched and taster days trialed were building, brick and block laying, butchery and fencing.  I chose building and have my work placement with Nolan Building for one day every week.  I help with tasks such as cutting wood with a drop saw, drilling holes in wood and concrete, demolishing walls, cleaning up at the end of the day and anything else I can help with. 

My Gateway Learning Plan includes book work in class and practical learning in the workplace, I am registered with BCITO and have my assessments marked by a BCITO Training Advisor, I really like practical hands-on work.
