Harrison Laing was one of four athletes awarded the Nick Willis Scholarship at the Games for outstanding performance

Harrison Laing, Sean Newlands and Gabriel Dickerson participated in the annual South Island Colgate Games in Invercargill in January. 

The athletes were treated to beautiful weather, an amazing atmosphere and were rewarded with some great results.

Harrison Laing received gold medals for the 400m and 800m, silver in the 1500m and medley relay and bronze in long jump. Sean Newlands received bronze medals in the 400m and medley relay. Gabriel Dickerson received a silver medal in the medley relay and bronze in the 100m hurdles. These are great results in a strong field. 

To top it off Harrison was one of four athletes awarded the Nick Willis Scholarship at the Games for outstanding performance.
