From soaring 31 degrees temperatures to pouring rain, the Rangiora Rotary Club’s 36th annual two- day book fair drew the crowds.

Held at a new venue in the Rangiora A & P Showgrounds, the book fair attracted queues of keen buyers waiting to wade their way through the thousands of books on sale.
President Marilyn Ayers says the book fair was a great success.
“It was a team effort to collect, sort and manage the event during a period of restricted access,” she says.
Funds raised by the book fair will go back into the community.

“The Rotary book fair in Rangiora is a keenly awaited community event and highlights the work we do in North Canterbury,” says Marilyn.
