Hornby Rotary Club steps into Hydrotherapy pool project

Construction of the new Hornby Centre, Indoor Pools and Library facility, has taken a significant step toward becoming a reality with piling construction starting on site recently. Hornby Rotary together with the local Greater Hornby Residents Association, and some key CCC staff, are working to have a Hydrotherapy pool included in The Hornby Centre.

We were thrilled to be able to continue with the staging of our very popular Junior Speech Competition, even though schools had been locked down for a few weeks during their busy year. The change of timing had affected some schools but we still managed to attract 14 schools entering a total of 110 students. The competition involves students in Year 4 to Year 8.
