The joint Rotary Clubs of Capricorn Coast and Yeppoon have joined together to bring double the fun in this family event to lure the kids away from their screens and bring the community together.

The combined Rotary Clubs of Capricorn Coast and Yeppoon and JRT Group are bringing back the Billy Cart Dash to Yeppoon on September 11.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available, so why not enter a billy cart and have fun while advertising your business? Businesses are encouraged to enter their own team and have a fun time bonding with colleagues, while advertising their businesses and helping their local community. They can also meet their customers in a different setting.

The work of Rotary begins in the community, and every community has its own unique needs and concerns. The Rotary members on the Capricorn Coast from Yeppoon to Emu Park planned this new community event to unite their coastal villages, enable families to have fun together, promote businesses in the area, promote a healthy lifestyle, and highlight the role of Rotary as a glue for social cohesion. 

There will also be food and coffee stands to go with the fun of the day.

One of Rotary's focuses is community and economic development and if we can do that while still having fun, all the better.
