Rotary in our new District is led by a diverse District team of dedicated humanitarians and an amazing array of Club teams. Whether carrying out a community project, providing financial support, managing a global program, or advancing Rotary’s strategic plan in D9560, each member of the team is dedicated to helping our members connect and take action to create sustainable change.

Each month of the calendar year is celebrated in Rotary with a different theme. Each club throughout the Rotary world is encouraged to concentrate on programs to promote each of these months. Rotary focuses on Community Service and promotes International Peace and Understanding. By celebrating each month and using these themes as a guide, Rotarians can ensure that all of the various programs of Rotary are administered throughout the entire year. July is the start of new Rotary officers' year of service, whether that is at District or club level.

Rotary develops leaders by providing opportunities for all members to provide service to our local communities and communities across the globe. With that service comes a learning experience in the areas of leadership, team building, planning, marketing, communication, and organization.

Serving as a Club or District officer or committee member provides an opportunity to enrich your leadership skills by sharing experiences and ideas with other Rotarians throughout the region.
