Rotary Club of Ayr airs its 2021-2022 plans

Provided by AG Trevor Hyatt from President Shane Moon —

A great newspaper article capturing the plans of Ayr President, Shane Moon, and illustrates how busy our incoming Presidents have been.

The first month in the life of an average President after Changeover, is full of plans, new learnings and some uncertainty. So Rotarians get behind your leader and let them know you support them. This is all captured well in Shane's first President newsletter:

Well, it’s been not a week at the helm after what was a fantastic Changeover night. I thank our members for the massive support and I am really humbled by it and the opportunity moving forward. Lots of email, DG Zoom Changeover & lots of stuff now to get my head around. Roger is under the pump with the raffle almost totally sold out. We are full steam ahead for the Cancer Council Relay for Life on 24th July at Showgrounds. We have guest speakers arranged for Thursday night 15th (Anti-domestic Violence) & possibly 22nd July YWAM. Tuesday night Rotary Water Festival Meeting at 6pm 13th July at the Council Chambers Tuesday 20th July Home Hill Rotary Changeover night Malpass Hotel Wednesday 14th July .We also have our RYDA program on. QLD looking for pride - 3rd State of Origin My first board meeting moved this month due to the busy Calendar to Monday 12th at Frank’s home still (if available) Plenty on and we are only getting warm.

 Regards Shane
