Mackay Region RYDA - Rotary Youth Driver Awareness program was held recently at the local PCYC.

This year’s two-day RYDA program for the Mackay region – Group1 of Rotary International District 9570 - was held on 20th and 21st August, and involved 280 students from four Mackay area high schools - Mackay High, North Mackay High, Sarina High and Mackay Christian College.

The RYDA program was held at the local Police Citizen’s Youth Club - with assistance from PCYC staff, Mackay Police, Liesl's Driving School and Terrence Harmse Let's Drive Driver Training.

Facilitators and volunteers from several Mackay area Rotary Clubs - Mackay club, North Mackay, West Mackay, Sarina, Walkerston presented and assisted at the event.
