ShelterBox Giving Day - Thursday 10th December

Alexandra Heron and Dieter Torheiden - November 29, 2020

ShelterBox Australia is calling on everyday Australians to stand united with ShelterBox and help us in our mission to deliver emergency shelter and disaster relief to people around the world.

Shelter Boxes are sent to communities that experience a disaster that results in their home being destroyed (e.g cyclone, earthquake, war). The Shelter Box provides a tent, blankets, cooking equipment, solar batteries, water containers, water filters, school supplies and tools to help them rebuild.

Gladstone West RotaKids have been saving their containers for change money to purchase a Shelter Box.

Classes from the whole school at Gladstone West State School recently got an opportunity to visit and have a tour of a ShelterBox which had been set up for the day. The RotaKids were the tour guides.
