DG Martti and Karen felt privileged to celebrate the 80th birthday of the Rotary Club of Tully

The Rotary Club of Tully celebrated its 80th Birthday at their Changeover on 12th June 2021. What an amazing number of years to be actively "serving to change lives"! The venue was the very atmospheric "Butler's Restaurant" at the Hotel Tully.

The Changeover sees the Club's Presidency move from Malcolm Bright to ?. PP Malcolm outlined to club's achievements for 2020_21. Foremost of these were ... President NAME outlined his goals for 2021_22, and these were ....

The Tully members have really taken to heart the challenge to increase membership numbers in our part of the world by 10%, and have been very busy asking and attracting new members to their club. They have been able to use the flexibility from the Council on Legislation to adopt and change their club's structure to meet current members' and community needs. And the evidence of this was with the induction of their first Corporate member, ?. Corporate membership enables a Rotary club to expand its network in a community and foster new partnerships that can be leveraged to tackle bigger community challenges, and the Corporate member can nominate 2 - 5 employees to share the opportunities such membership brings, who are able to regularly attend the Club's meetings. IOn the night the Corporate members introduced were....  We want to extend a warm welcome to these Corporate members in to the Rotary experience.
